Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Josh is the founder and driving force behind BranchIt. He brings to the company experience selling On-Demand Customer Relationship Management solutions from his work as President & Chief Operations Officer at RewardCafe, where he successfully developed and negotiated contracts with distribution partners, leading to access at over 30,000 travel agencies. Previously, Josh was a strategy consultant for Computer Science Corporation (CSC Index), where he advised Fortune 500 companies including AmeriTech, Atlanta Gas & Light, Bank of Boston, DuPont, Midcon, Monsanto, Occidental Petroleum Corporation. At Midcon, Josh helped them start a new direct-to-consumer start-up subsidiary, which was so successful that it was acquired by KN Energy within 2-years. Josh began his career at Intel Corporation, where he co-founded the company’s vendor assessment group to evaluate chip data to gauge the quality of the chips being purchased from various partners. Mr. Yuster first became involved with Relationship Management and social networking at Northwestern University, where he earned a dual degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern's honors Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences program.
Vice President of Engineering
Stephen comes to BranchIt with over two decades of expertise conceiving innovative solutions, building engineering teams, and delivering superior quality software products. Stephen held the role of Director of Application Software at Clarify Inc., where he led the development of an enterprise-class Customer Relationship Management application early on as the company’s first technical hire through its IPO and subsequent acquisition by Nortel Networks for $2.2 billion. Steve has since held the VP of Engineering roles at two different VC-funded companies, InLeague and Xcerla, and has founded two other companies Ripple Chain and Biztrol. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Chan was key in the development of the Cloud Enterprise Computing project, the first open-source framework to accelerate development of Facebook, Open Social, and Salesforce.com applications. Stephen is involved in cloud computing where he created the Cloud Storage API, an open-source API to support both Amazon S3 and Nirvanix IMFS. Stephen holds a BS in Computer Science from Northwestern University, an MS in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin at Madison, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business from the University of California, Berkeley.
